Terms of Service

By using this website or entering into a service agreement with JDM Lighting, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements, and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

JDM Lighting provides professional outdoor lighting design, installation, and maintenance services, including permanent track lighting systems, landscape lighting, and architectural accent lighting. All services are subject to a separate written service agreement, which will govern the specific scope, pricing, timeline, and conditions of each project.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice. JDM Lighting is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

All quotes and estimates provided by JDM Lighting are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on information provided at the time of assessment and are subject to change if project scope, site conditions, or material costs change. A signed service agreement and deposit are required to confirm and schedule any project.

Payment terms will be outlined in your individual service agreement. Generally:

• A deposit of 50% is required upon signing the service agreement to secure your installation date.
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion and client sign-off.
• Payments are accepted via check, bank transfer, or major credit card.
• Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month.

JDM Lighting reserves the right to suspend or withhold services for accounts with outstanding balances.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days prior to a scheduled installation date will receive a full refund of the deposit, less any materials already ordered. Cancellations made within 10 business days of the scheduled date may forfeit the deposit. Refunds for completed work are not available except where required by applicable law or outlined in a written warranty agreement.

JDM Lighting warrants all installations against defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of project completion. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures and components are passed through to the client and vary by product. This warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of nature, vandalism, improper use, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow recommended maintenance guidelines.

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to JDM Lighting within the applicable warranty period. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective workmanship at our discretion.

By entering into a service agreement, you grant JDM Lighting and its authorized personnel reasonable access to your property to perform the agreed-upon work. You represent that you have the authority to grant such access. You are responsible for disclosing any known site conditions, utility lines, irrigation systems, or hazards that may affect the installation. JDM Lighting is not liable for damage caused by undisclosed site conditions.

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of JDM Lighting and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JDM Lighting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JDM Lighting, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our website or services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

JDM Lighting reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
